I’m Joey, a Principal UX Engineer & Web + Product Developer with 15 years of experience in UX/UI design, front-end development, and digital product strategy.

My journey in web development started in the early 2000s, designing websites with GIMP and table-based HTML/CSS on a homebuilt Linux machine. Initially pursuing Computer Science, I built and deployed dynamic web applications before shifting my academic focus to Political Science and Philosophy. Despite an early path toward law school, I chose to follow my passion for technology and design.

Since 2011, I’ve worked across startups, enterprise applications, and eCommerce platforms, building everything from marketplace applications and enterprise dashboards to custom WordPress solutions and vendor portals. My experience spans UX strategy, front-end architecture, and product development, bridging the gap between design, engineering, and business needs.
